My name is Steve Mize and I know Quack, do you? What a phrase. If you watch television commercials, then I'm sure you've heard it. I am a benefits consultant and I work with individuals and families as well as companies; whether you have a few employees or hundreds. I have been an independent agent for 8 years, helping folks just like you. I'm licensed in many states so I can, mostly likely, help you too.

I work with the world’s largest supplemental insurance company. I also work with other Life insurance companies and I will shop for the best price for your policy needs. I take care of all claims personally, and do not give you a 1 – 800 number to call and get a runaround. I have helped many people to collect on cancer, accident, Short Term Disability and death claims.

As a company, you pay nothing to enhance your employees benefits package. This insurance doesn’t replace anything that you might already have in place. As a matter of fact, it can save your company money, since most of these benefits are on a pre-tax basis. Your employees pick and choose their own benefits. It is strictly on a voluntary basis with no pressure to buy.

This is not health insurance, as it does not pay the doctors or hospitals. If an employee is involved in an unforeseen accident or illness, such as cancer, heart attack or stroke, we pay cash, directly to them, not the doctor, to live on until they get back to work. Let’s face it, most people live week to week, and can’t afford to be out of work. Actually, they are only one disability or accident away from going bankrupt, and don’t even realize it. I would love to come in and have a short meeting with your employees and educate them on how these benefits can protect them and their families, in case something unforeseen happens for as little as 1 hour’s wage per week.

The biggest objection I hear is that “my employees are strapped for cash and won’t do anything that costs them more money.” I simply ask them to let me bring in breakfast and explain what we do, and how it will benefit them. I usually have 70% participation, even though the employer feels certain there will no takers. The outcome in participation is quite surprising. Most employees will participate when given the opportunity hear the facts about Aflac. And now you Quack.

I would love to come in and speak with you for roughly 20 minutes, about the company that I am proud to work for, to see if it would be a good match for your company. Most negative feedback comes from people trying to file their own claims, or not filing at all, and simply saying it doesn’t work. I totally agree with them; if you don’t file a claim, or if you use incorrect forms, no insurance company will be satisfactory to you because you most likely won‘t see any money.

Most all of the folks that we pay claims to on daily basis, are very glad they purchased one of our policies and they love Aflac. Approximately $1.5 million in claims are paid daily, worldwide.
